His focus has been serving the real estate needs of the Chicago land market and surrounding suburbs and came to the industry with extensive sales and management experience behind him, Before Jay worked in real estate full time, he sold to the Fortune 1000 and was the Director of Sales for two well respected Chicago based companies, CDW Computer Centers and Careerbuilder.com. As a result, he possesses strong negotiating and leadership skills needed to be successful in properly representing his clients. His passion has always been in real estate and has followed his dream of working in an industry he loves. Jay has a great understanding of the real estate market from his vast experience in working with buyers, sellers, investors, and Developers. He has extensive experience with representing Chicago’s largest and most respected developers in Chicago and is currently used as a consultant for larger scale developments planned for Chicago’s future. He follows in the footsteps of his father and Grandfather who have provided exceptional real estate service to the Chicago area for generations. A native of the area who grew up on the North Shore, Jay attended college at the University of Illinois in Champaign where he studied Economics and Business Administration. Jay always likes to push the envelope personally and professionally. He has completed two Chicago Marathon’s and enjoys playing golf and spending time with his family. Jay is in charge of the Wallace Group, Inc. sales team at Koenig & Strey Real Living, which has successfully closed over $10 Million in real estate Sales in 2010.
